[ejabberd] where does ejabberd keep it's log files

i have the current version from CVS (27 October 2003).

the system is running (and my config file is attached).

ejabberd is invoked from rc as
    
    cd /usr/pkg/jabberd/ejabberd
    
    su jabber -c "/usr/pkg/bin/erl -sname ejabberd -s ejabberd 
                 -heart -detached 
                 -sasl sasl_error_logger '{file, \"ejabberd.sasl.log\"}' &"
        1>/dev/null 2>&1
    
(it's one long line).
    
however, no where in  /usr/pkg/jabberd/ejabberd/* can i find any ".log"
files. there are some ".LOG" files in src/Mnesia.ejabberd at ... but these
appear to be some kind of binary things...
    
so, where should i be looking for the logs or what am i doing wrong?
