Hi,

OK, I will :)

situation: ejabberd is running on machine A (tornado).
ejabberd on tornado is run with the following command (taken from 'ps' output).

/usr/lib/erlang/erts-5.1/bin/beam -- -root /usr/lib/erlang -progname
erl -- -home /var/lib/ejabberd -sname ejabberd -s ejabberd -ejabberd
config "/etc/ejabberd/ejabberd.cfg" log_path
"/var/log/ejabberd/ejabberd.log" -sasl sasl_error_logger
{file,"/var/log/ejabberd/sasl.log"} -mnesia dir "/var/lib/ejabberd"
-noshell -noinp_shell -noshell -noinput

I run the following from the directory I want to run ejabberd from on
machine B (cyclone):

cyclone:~$ erl -sname ejabberd -mnesia extra_db_nodes
"['ejabberd at tornado']" -s mnesia

And get this result:

{error_logger,{{2005,2,2},{8,57,13}},crash_report,[[{pid,<0.17.0>},{registered_name,net_kernel},{error_info,{{badmatch,{error,duplicate_name}},[{inet_tcp_dist,listen,1},{net_kernel,start_protos,4},{net_kernel,start_protos,3},{net_kernel,init_node,2},{net_kernel,init,1},{gen_server,init_it,6},{proc_lib,init_p,5}]}},{initial_call,{gen,init_it,[gen_server,<0.14.0>,<0.14.0>,{local,net_kernel},net_kernel,{ejabberd,shortnames,15000},[]]}},{ancestors,[net_sup,kernel_sup,<0.8.0>]},{messages,[]},{links,[<0.14.0>,#Port<0.5>]},{dictionary,[{longnames,false}]},{trap_exit,true},{status,running},{heap_size,377},{stack_size,23},{reductions,385}],[]]}

Thanks for the help!
