[ejabberd] agents vs. discovery

Our organization is migrating to Microsoft's LCS in April ...  my goal
is to have a completely open source alternative available ( so we don't
have to spend any more $$ for Jabber Inc licenses ) in the event that
migration has *issues* ...

Would it be unreasonable to stick with your current XMPP server and
focus on getting the gradual client upgrade instead?  Then when that's
complete you can upgrade to ejabberd?
