Indeed, there is a problem with ipv6, I'll try to fix it.
For now, you can do the following:
$ erl
Erlang R14B02 (erts-5.8.3) [source] [64-bit] [smp:4:4] [rq:4] 
[async-threads:0] [kernel-poll:false]

Eshell V5.8.3  (abort with ^G)
1> inet_parse:address("2001:4dd0:fc84::6").
{ok,{8193,19920,64644,0,0,0,0,6}}

So {8193,19920,64644,0,0,0,0,6} is your address.
